Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Data controller

What data we process and why

• Free trial: your name, email, company and phone (if you give them to us) and the documents you upload. We use them to read those documents, send you the resulting Excel file and, if you ask for it or give us your phone number, contact you to explain the service.
• Customers: name or company, email, plan, report time and billing details, to provide the service, charge for it and keep you informed about it (plan usage, changes, incidents). Card details are handled directly by Stripe: we never see or store them.
• Customers' documents: the invoices and receipts that arrive at your FactuLector address. We process them only to extract their data and send you the Excel file, as data processor on your behalf (GDPR, art. 28): we do not use them for anything else.
• Support enquiries: your email and what you write to us, to reply to you.

Legal basis

Your consent, which you give when submitting the trial form; the performance of the contract, for customers; compliance with legal obligations (invoicing and bookkeeping); and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries you send us.

Who else is involved

• OVHcloud (OVH Hispano, S.L. and OVH SAS): server and email, in the European Union.
• Anthropic: artificial intelligence service that reads the documents. This involves an international transfer of data to the United States, covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses). The data is not used to train its models.
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland): card payments and subscription management. It may transfer data to the United States with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How long we keep it

• Free trial documents: 30 days, then deleted.
• Free trial contact details: until you ask us to delete them and, at most, 1 year if you do not subscribe.
• Customer data and documents: for as long as the service lasts. When it ends they are deleted or returned to the customer, except billing data, which is kept for the periods required by law.
• Support enquiries: as long as needed to resolve them and, at most, 1 year afterwards.

Your rights

You can access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request its portability by writing to soporte@factulector.es. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
